The increase in technology crime in Hong Kong has been alarming, with a recent study1 by the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force revealing a 41% increase in 2022 as compared to 2021. The lost amount totals HK$ 3.2B, with attacks like ransomware impacting large and small businesses.
