Recently, we have received multiple reports of suspected fraudulent activities involving individuals impersonating Ingram Micro Hong Kong and our staff.
These scammers have been using fake company websites and WhatsApp groups to promote fake job vacancies and marketing campaigns, luring victims with deceptive messaging. This matter has been reported to the police, and we are fully cooperating with the ongoing investigations.
Please note that:
- Ingram Micro Hong Kong has never created WhatsApp groups to promote job vacancies or marketing campaigns.
- All our job postings are to be found on our Company Career Page: https://careers.ingrammicro.com/en/ and job boards -- LinkedIn / JobsDB Hong Kong.
- Ingram Micro Hong Kong or our staff will never request passwords, bank account details, credit card information, or any other sensitive personal data from jobseekers via phone, email, social media, or personal messaging platforms.
- Jobseekers are not required to pay any fees for performing any job duties.
⚠️ We strongly advise jobseekers to be alert when receiving suspicious messages and emails. In any case of suspected fraud, report the incident to the police and notify Ingram Micro immediately.
